Emmanuel Jesuyon Dansu (PhD) is an assistant professor at Tohoku University, Japan, where he earned his PhD (Information Science) in Mathematical Biology on scholarship by the Government of Japan, under the MEXT scholarship programme.
Prior to earning a PhD, Emmanuel earned a distinction in his Master of Technology, Industrial Mathematics (Optimization and Optimal Control) programme, and a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Mathematics (first class honours), both from Federal University of Technology, Akure in Nigeria, where he also lectured, starting as a Graduate Assistant and rising through the ranks to Lecturer 1, between 2012- 2023.
